Computer Networking Services in Connecticut

Now IT Works is currently looking for a specialized IT Professional in the role of a full-time Senior Systems Enginner - SSE. This position enjoys home-based remote operations while traveling within the state to personally interface with our valued clients.
 
Assuming you are the right candidate - you should have at least 5-7 years of experience with the following technologies:
 
- Active Directory
- Exchange - 200x
- SQL Server 200x
- Networking and Internet - DHCP; DNS; Domain names; switching, routing and firewalls, VPN devices; network appliances
 
While the Senior Systems Engineer is an important role to the organization, the role is even more important to our clients. The SSE will be heavily involved in each of our client's businesses and different technology components. Having the ability to directly impact the client's growth is a fantastic feeling - and we are very involved with our clients.
 
In addition to the engineering aspect of this position, we occasionally run into prospects or clients with non-supported computers that need the attention of a desktop technician role - the SSE will also be asked to complete some of the following technical tasks:
 
- Format and reinstall Windows XP
- Remove viruses from a computer
- Install hardware to computers

One of the responsibilities of the SSE would be to offer the technical engineering in the following technologies:
 
- Remote access through Terminal Server, Citrix Zen
- Virtualization using Microsoft, VMWare or Citrix
- Backup continuity using CA, Symantec and Acronis
