information technology and business growth

Too many staff and not enough IT?
File that under one of those “good” problems that you get to experience every now and then.

Your office staff has increased over the course of the year. You might not have realized it as the year has progressed, but there’s more people working around you now. Have you taken the time to think about what that influx of activity is doing to your technology?

Can your systems and network handle the additional strain of more devices and more email accounts and more posts to people’s Instagram feeds?

When you get lost in the forest, sometimes it’s helpful to take a step back and look around you. What changes need to be made to accommodate your growth? Do you have a plan, whether it’s on the back of a take-out menu or more formalized, to make sure you are scaling your infrastructure as you are scaling the rest of your business?

In order for an organism to survive, all parts have to grow in proportion to one another. Make sure that your technology and information systems are growing with your business.
